Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This policy explains what information AdventurAds collects when you use www.adventurads.com or contact us, why we collect it, who else handles it, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
AdventurAds Incorporated ("AdventurAds", "we", "us") runs this website. We are a Google Ads agency incorporated in Canada and based in Toronto, Ontario. We work with businesses in the United States and Canada.
Usama Khan is responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach him at usama@adventurads.com.
2. What this policy covers
- www.adventurads.com and every page on it.
- Forms embedded on the site.
- Emails you send us and calls you book with us.
It does not cover data inside a client's own ad accounts, analytics or store. If you become a client, our services agreement covers that data.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
Enquiry forms. Some pages carry a form run by Typeform. Every form asks for your name and email. Some also ask for your phone number and company. The questions about your business depend on the form. They can include your monthly ad spend, your website, who runs your ads today, how many trucks you run, what you book jobs in, whether you make the decision, what you are looking for, your management budget, your monthly revenue, when you want to start, your business model, your main goal, your average order or job value, your gross margin, repeat purchases, where you track revenue or leads, and how your conversion tracking is set up today. The form may also record which page you were on and the campaign tags in the link that brought you (for example utm_source).
Email sign-up. Some pages may offer an email sign-up box. It asks for your email address and sometimes your first name.
Emails and calls. If you email us, we get your name, email address and whatever you write. If you book a call through a scheduling link or at the end of a form, the booking tool collects your name, email and the time you pick.
Access you grant. If you ask for an audit or become a client, you may give us read-only access to an ad account or send us a report. We use it only for the work you asked for.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, financial account or government ID numbers. Please don't send it.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page, some information is collected by tags and embedded tools:
- Google Analytics records the pages you view, how far you scroll, the links you click to other sites, files you download, videos you watch on the page, form interactions, your browser and device, the site or ad that sent you, and a rough location based on your IP address.
- Google Ads records visits and actions on the site so we can measure our own ads and show ads to people who visited before (remarketing). Our Google tag is also set up so that, if you type an email address, phone number or address into a form on one of our pages, Google can receive a hashed (scrambled) copy to match ad clicks to enquiries. Google calls this enhanced conversions.
- Typeform loads its form and sets its own cookies when a page with the form loads, even before you type anything.
- YouTube sets its own cookies when a page with an embedded video loads, even before you press play. Some videos load through Embedly, a video embed service.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is using the site and its forms. It looks at signals such as your IP address and browser.
- Webflow, our host, and Google Fonts receive your IP address and browser details when they deliver the page and its fonts.
4. Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare for a call.
- To decide whether we are a fit for your business.
- To do the audit or the work you asked for.
- To send emails you signed up for.
- To see which pages and ads bring enquiries, so we spend our own ad budget on what works.
- To show our ads to people who visited the site before.
- To keep spam and bots out of the forms.
- To keep business and tax records.
We don't sell your personal information for money. We don't use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.
5. Consent and legal bases
Canada. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which covers our commercial activity in Ontario and across Canada. When you fill in a form or email us, you consent to us using that information to reply and to do what you asked. Analytics and advertising cookies collect non-sensitive information. We rely on your implied consent for them, based on this notice and the opt-outs in section 11. You can withdraw consent at any time. If you do, we may not be able to reply to an enquiry that depends on it.
United States. California and a number of other states give residents privacy rights. Some of these laws may not apply to a business our size. We offer the same rights to every visitor anyway (see section 10).
European Union and United Kingdom. We don't target these markets, but if you visit from there, we rely on:
- Steps you ask for before a contract, when you send an enquiry or book a call.
- Our legitimate interests in running, securing and measuring the site and our own ads.
- Your consent, where the law requires it for cookies or marketing emails.
- Legal obligations, for business and tax records.
6. Who we share it with
We use these service providers. They handle information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies:
| Provider | What it does for us | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Webflow | Hosts the site and receives email sign-up forms | Webflow privacy policy |
| Typeform | Runs the enquiry forms and stores the answers | Typeform legal |
| Analytics, Google Ads, Tag Manager, YouTube embeds, fonts, and our email (Google Workspace) | Google privacy policy | |
| Cloudflare | Bot and spam protection (Turnstile) | Turnstile privacy addendum |
| Embedly | Loads some embedded videos | Embedly privacy policy |
| Calendly | Books calls when you use a scheduling link | Calendly privacy notice |
Google also uses some information from its advertising and analytics tags for its own purposes. You can read how in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a buyer if the business is sold. We don't share it with anyone else.
For California and similar state laws. In the last 12 months we collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address, cookie IDs), professional or business information (company, role, ad spend, revenue, margins), internet activity (pages viewed and actions on the site) and approximate location. We did not sell any of it. Our use of Google Ads remarketing may count as "sharing" identifiers and internet activity for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of that (see sections 10 and 11).
7. Where your information is stored
We are in Canada. Most of the providers above store information in the United States, and some also store it in other countries. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country, and courts or authorities there may be able to access it.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiry form answers and emails | While we are in touch, and up to 24 months after our last contact. Then we delete them. |
| Client contracts and invoices | As long as Canadian tax law requires, generally six years after the end of the tax year they relate to |
| Email sign-ups | Until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your address on a do-not-email list |
| Google Analytics data | Up to 14 months |
| Google Ads remarketing lists | Up to 540 days |
| Cookies | See section 11 |
9. Security
Only people who need your information to do the work can see it. We rely on the security features of the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct it.
- Delete it, unless we have to keep it by law.
- Stop using it for marketing, or withdraw consent you gave.
- Stop "sharing" it for targeted advertising.
If you are in the EU or UK, you can also object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for your data in a portable format.
How to ask. Email usama@adventurads.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We may ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address we have on file. Someone you authorize can ask for you with your written permission. We reply within 30 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why. It costs nothing, and using your rights won't change how we treat you.
If you disagree with our answer. Reply and ask us to look again. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact:
- Canada: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
- California: the California Privacy Protection Agency. Residents of other states can contact their state attorney general.
- EU or UK: your local data protection authority.

How to control them

- Turn off personalized Google ads at Google's ad settings.
- Stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at youradchoices.ca (Canada) or optout.aboutads.info (United States).
12. Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails if you signed up for them or Canadian anti-spam law otherwise allows it. Every one has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to stop them.
13. Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The effective date at the top will change with it. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we'll tell the people affected before it takes effect.
